There's always something happening in the studio- I like to stay busy. I typically work on 2 or more pieces at a time. Some are finished in a day, while others take 2 + years to complete. I moved into the shared studio space Get Together Studio(3rd floor, Studio 303D) at The Screw Factory in Lakewood, OH in 2022- I'm amazed and humbled to be able to work on my new body of work in this supportive atmosphere, surrounded by so many incredible artists and makers!

 

My solo show at FAVA Gallery in Oberlin, OH, closed in August 2021. It can be viewed virtually via this link. It was an incredible experience showing in this space, and I am looking forward to working more with FAVA in the future. My last solo show Alchemy Dreams was on view from June 15th-July 7th at the BAYarts Fuller House Gallery in Bay Village, Ohio. This solo show was graciously awarded by BAYarts following the CAN Triennial in 2022, where I was announced a winner of an exhibition prize for my work in the arts community. It was a wonderful opportunity to create and present this body of work in this supportive atmosphere. 

 

The video on the top right shows the process of printing a series for a Print Exchange with Relief Conspiracy, for which I printed 20+ images of my "Projected Stars" print. These were mailed around the world to other printmakers, which culminated in a show at The Harlow Gallery in Hollowell, Maine, curated by Scott Minzy(2021). I really enjoyed this process, and I was just able to move this press from my garage into my studio at the Screw Factory. I am looking forward to printing with it more in the near future!

The video on the bottom right was made in 2024 as a way to document the making of a collage, using cyanotypes created in my garden. I truly enjoyed incorporating the process of stop-motion animation into my practice, and I will certainly be pursuing this more as I continue to document my processes.
